Privacy policy

This policy describes how Project Peach Inc. ("Soba", "we") collects and uses information through the Soba service and the usesoba.com website.
What we collect
- From our customers (produce sellers): company name, team members' names, phone numbers and email addresses, business hours, price rules and settings.
- From buyers who call or text a customer's line: name, company, callback number, the order details they give, and notes of the conversation. We keep written notes and transcripts; audio is not retained by default.
- Automatically: call and message metadata (time, duration, numbers, delivery status) and basic website analytics.
How we use it
- To take, route and confirm orders on behalf of our customers.
- To send callbacks, confirmations, order cards and summaries.
- To operate, secure and improve the service.
- To comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use conversation content to train models for third parties.
Who we share it with
- The customer on whose behalf a call or message was handled; the conversation belongs to that customer's business relationship with the buyer.
- Service providers that help us run the service: telephony and messaging (Twilio), voice and language processing (ElevenLabs, Anthropic), hosting and email. Each is bound to use the data only to provide the service to us.
- Authorities when required by law.
Retention
Call notes and message records are kept for 12 months by default. Customers can shorten this in their settings. Account information is kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period after.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and of WhatsApp by replying STOP or blocking the number. See our messaging policy.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at hello@usesoba.com. If you are a buyer, we may refer the request to the customer whose line you contacted.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our providers. Access is limited to people who need it to run the service.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post changes on this page with a new effective date.
